Car Breakdown Assistance

Don't get caught out - get peace of mind on the road by taking out our Breakdown cover, provided by the RAC, with your Car Insurance policy.

When something goes wrong with your vehicle, you often need specialist help. However, call-out fees, motorway tow-truck rates and minimum charges by garages can be very costly. It can also be difficult to locate a breakdown service when you need one.

ibuyeco Roadside Assistance can provide cover for your car. A range of different levels of cover are available providing you with the ability to purchase only exactly what you need.

The range of cover available is:

UK Roadside: Your car will be fixed at the roadside if possible or will be towed to a nearby garage
UK Roadside & At Home: As above, plus also within a quarter of a mile of your home
UK Roadside & Recovery: Roadside fixes, plus transportation of your vehicle plus up to 8 people to your intended UK destination or home
UK Roadside, Recovery & At Home: Home and roadside fixes, plus transportation of your vehicle plus up to 8 people to your intended UK destination or home
UK Roadside, Recovery, At Home & Onward Travel: As above, but also includes a replacement car for up to 24 hours whilst yours is being repaired, or accommodation or onward travel by other transport means
EU & UK Roadside, Recovery, At Home & Onward Travel: As above, but also covers you whilst you are elsewhere in the UK

Guaranteed Replacement Car

Our Guaranteed Replacement Car service keeps you mobile by providing a replacement vehicle should yours not be driveable following a claim. Unlike a garage's courtesy car, which is subject to availability, our Guaranteed Replacement Car service will provide you with a car quickly and efficiently via a leading national network. This gives you peace of mind that you will not be without a car. The car will be a hatchback or similar with an engine size of at least 1000cc. In the event of a non fault claim we will make every effort to provide a vehicle of similar physical size to your own.

Our Guaranteed Replacement Car service can be used in a range of claim situations, including:

Accident repairs
Write off
Vandalism
Theft
Fire or flood

Motor Legal Protection

Even in the case where an accident is not your fault, no car insurance policy will cover all your losses. Motor Legal Protection can cover certain costs which you may incur by seeking to recover your uninsured losses from the person who caused the accident.
These losses can include your policy excess, loss of earnings, vehicle hire charges, personal injury damages (such as compensation for whiplash). Other losses include your vehicle repair costs (if third party cover), medical fees, compensation for the loss of use of your vehicle, damage to personal belongings, vehicle recovery, storage charges and out of pocket expenses. Our Motor Legal Protection policies cover up to £100,000 legal costs and expenses.

We all know that losing your keys, or having them stolen, is frustrating and upsetting. But now with our Keycare policy you can relax in the knowledge that should this happen, you are only one phone call away from help.
Keycare policy benefits

Emergency helpline open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
Protection for permanently lost keys to cover the cost of replacement keys, locks and car hire up to an annual cover limit of £1,000
Up to 3 days car hire if your car is unusable as a result of lost/stolen keys
Call out charges where keys are locked inside a vehicle or premises (within the annual cover limit of £1000 for each registered key fob)
Access to a nationwide network of locksmiths
No claim discount on your vehicle or household insurance policy is not affected
No excess to pay
Fast track claims service
No details of the key owner are given to the finder therefore guaranteeing confidentiality and security
Keycare pay the finder a reward of £10. You will not be asked to contribute
Keys for any lock are covered whilst attached to your key fob (including keys to commercial premises)

Carbon Offsetting

You can choose to offset the CO2 emissions produced by your driving. We'll tell you the amount of CO2 your driving produces in a year based on your annual mileage, fuel type and engine size. We then purchase carbon credits from offsetting projects around the world to offset your driving.
