Home Assistance

When you have a domestic emergency, the last thing you need on your plate is all the stress and expense that comes with it. Add our Home Assistance cover to your eco home insurance policy and we’ll be on call around the clock to send an appropriately qualified contractor to your rescue.

We’ll cover the call-out charge, up to 2 hours labour, parts & materials (up to £100) and alternative accommodation costs (up to £250). We’ll pay up to £1,000 in total, per claim, to help you resolve a domestic emergency as quickly as possible.

Emergencies covered include:

Heating breakdowns
Plumbing, drainage and toilet problems
Home security including locks and windows
Emergency loss of power
Vermin infestation

Home Legal Protection

Add Legal Protection to your eco home insurance policy for extra peace of mind. It’ll give you financial support to protect yourself and stand up for your legal rights and offer you a confidential legal helpline 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – covering advice on the laws of the UK, The Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, The European Union, Switzerland and Norway as well as a tax advice advisory service.

Our Legal Protection cover offers you the following benefits*:

We can often negotiate full settlement of a claim outside the courts. Or, we refer you to an experienced solicitor for further action
Up to £50,000 of Legal Costs assistance arising out of problems with personal injury or death, for negligence or assault
Purchase or sale of main residence not including solicitors fees
Property disputes including claims from a person causing damage
Consumer disputes when buying, hiring or selling goods in the home
Employment disputes where an industrial tribunal is involved
As well as contract disputes, property protection, tax protection, jury service, employees' legal defence and international cover.

We all know that losing your keys, or having them stolen, is frustrating and upsetting. But now with our Keycare policy you can relax in the knowledge that should this happen, you are only one phone call away from help.

Keycare policy benefits

Emergency helpline open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
Protection for permanently lost keys to cover the cost of replacement keys, locks and car hire up to an annual cover limit of £1,000
Up to 3 days car hire if your car is unusable as a result of lost/stolen keys
Call out charges where keys are locked inside a vehicle or premises (within the annual cover limit of £1000 for each registered key fob)
Access to a nationwide network of locksmiths
No claim discount on your vehicle or household insurance policy is not affected
No excess to pay
Fast track claims service
No details of the key owner are given to the finder therefore guaranteeing confidentiality and security
Keycare pay the finder a reward of £10. You will not be asked to contribute
Keys for any lock are covered whilst attached to your key fob (including keys to commercial premises)
